For over 23 years, Bill has been helping brands – and the people and businesses behind them – work smarter. His career started in New York City, where he spent 10 years working with multinational agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey on celebrated brands such as Tide, Downy, Delta Air Lines and Nabisco. In 1998, Bill moved to British Columbia to manage the Vancouver office of DDB Worldwide…and be closer to better skiing. While at DDB, Bill was part of the select Global Planning Group, helping the agency develop and deploy strategic and brand planning tools across its 205 offices worldwide. Bill is a magna cum laude graduate of Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where he earned his BA; and he attended both the Sorbonne in Paris and Albert Ludwigs Universität in Freiburg, Germany. When hes not absorbed in work, Bill likes to spend time playing his piano, reading the news and watching what he feels is an unhealthy amount of reality television.
About Paul Belserene
A poet, creative writing teacher, meditation instructor, marketing strategist, branding consultant, storyteller and one-time chemistry major, Paul commits every aspect of his life to helping others find words for unspoken ideas, and connecting what can be felt to what can be done. Pauls work first received international exposure in the mid 80s when he was instrumental in the early storytelling (and four pavilion experiences) that seared Expo 86 into the worlds imagination. In 1987, when Intrawest first acquired Blackcomb Mountain, Paul began a 20-year relationship with that company, helping transform it from a general purpose property developer to one of the worlds leading experience-oriented resort brands. Paul also created the hard lemonade category for Mikes Hard Lemonade, which became the most successful beverage brand in Canada on behalf of the Marc Anthony Group. He has named financial institutions, manufacturing companies, service organizations and food brands. His storytelling has helped give fire and power to tourism, resort and community development, injury prevention, seniors communities, the arts and enterprise.
